Meet Ray McElroy

We are thrilled to welcome Ray McElroy as the guest speaker for this year’s Eastern Illinois FCA Victory Dessert!
Ray is a former NFL cornerback who played six seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Lions. Before his professional career, he was a standout student-athlete at Eastern Illinois University, earning All-Conference and All-American honors. After retiring from football, Ray continued to pour into athletes and communities as the Team Chaplain for the Chicago Bears and now as a licensed minister, motivational speaker, and founder of A Ray of Hope on Earth, a non-profit equipping youth and families to live with purpose.
Ray’s passion for faith, leadership, and mentorship aligns beautifully with FCA’s mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. His story of pursuing excellence on the field and living with eternal purpose off the field will inspire and encourage all who attend.
Join us for an unforgettable evening as Ray shares how God has used his platform to impact lives—and how together, we can continue reaching coaches and athletes right here in Eastern Illinois.
